Speakers include Penny Dakin, CEO of ARACY and Leith Sterling, Executive Director, Child & Family Services at The Benevolent Society.
Also featuring a panel of young advocates including:
- Maddison Henaway (FIN SEQ), a young Birri Gubba mother who is focused on reforming child protection systems and bridging the gap between families and policies to ensure the best outcomes for all those affected.
- Madi Heady (YDAN), a vibrant young woman navigating her way through the world after high school, and living with a disability.
- Jahin Tanvir, a young first-generation migrant and optometry student who is passionate about equitable healthcare, meaningful youth advocacy and elevating the needs of young migrants and communities.
- Monique Worsley , a strong young woman experienced in overcoming the emotional and physical tolls that too often accompany families living in rural Australia, and a UNICEF Australia Ambassador for young people living in drought
